Charlotte Maureen (Mink) Chesler, 77, of Oakmont, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was the loving companion of William Frich; daughter of the late George and Katherine Mink; beloved mother of Colleen (John) DeSantis, James Chesler and Sean Chesler; devoted grandmother of Amber, Patrick, Samantha and Michael; great-grandmother of Carter; sister of George Mink, Joan Theierl, Bernadette Kistlan, Margaret Hess, and the late Cyril Mink; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Charlotte possessed a natural liveliness and lightheartedness. She was loyal to her family and friends and was at her best when hosting events and activities that ensured their joy and happiness. Charlotte enthusiastically embraced many outdoor activities, especially boating on Pittsburgh's rivers and along Florida's Gulf Coast, having obtained her captain's license later in life. Whether family member, friend or caregiver, all were better off for having known her.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held at a later date. Professional services are by THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY LTD., Blawnox.
