Jacques L. Weber Obituary
Jacques L. Weber, 88, of Bridgeville, formerly of Port Matilda, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at the Baptist Home in Castle Shannon. Born March 29, 1928, in Altoona, she was raised by Margaret and Charles Harpster. On May 29, 1952, she married Charles A. Weber, who preceded her in death Aug. 7, 2014. She truly enjoyed her bible studies, so much so that she would cook formal meals for the meetings. She also took pleasure in birds, flowers, painting and reading about history. She found joy in classic old-time movies and would emulate the movies into her own home. Jacques is survived by two sons, Stephen (Rachael) Weber, of Avella, and Michael Jordan (Pam), of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Marilee Caputo, of Fallbrook, Calif., Kathryn Long, of Austin, Texas, and Joie (Don) Kobak, of Tyrone; two granddaughters, Carol Brownsfield, of Washington, and Kelly Powell, of Boalsburg; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Harpster Barry.
Visitation and funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at MARK D. HEINTZELMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Interment was in Port Matilda Cemetery.
