Charlotte J. Messina Obituary
Charlotte Jaye (Sigler) Messina, 60, of Delmont, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, in Mt. View Specialty Care, Greensburg. She was born June 24, 1956, in Arlington, Va., a beloved daughter of Mary Alice (Thompson) Zacharias, of Murrysville, and the late Billy Garland Sigler. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was formerly employed in business management. Charlotte was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont. She loved spending time with her family and she loved horseback riding. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Charlotte will be dearly missed by her husband of 24 years, John Michael Messina; daughter, Crystal Sigler-Herbison, of Quantico, Va.; mother, Mary Alice; stepfather, Robert "Bob" Zacharias; sisters, Kimberly Ann Keller, of Ellicott City, Md., Marcia Dunbebin (Robert), of Tacoma Park, Md., and Donna Barringham (David), of Highland, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was the very proud grandmother of Landon Noah Herbison, whom she cherished.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service for Charlotte that will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Faith United Methodist Church, 305 Freeport St., Delmont, with the Rev. Ron Raptosh officiating.
