Joseph Prodanovich Obituary
Joseph Prodanovich, 53, of Murrysville, formerly of North Braddock, died Saturday, July 22, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Hughes) Prodanovich for 23 years.; loving father of Alexis (William) Kukurin, Karly, Joseph and Brie Ann Prodanovich, all of Murrysville; and treasured grandfather of Brooke, Kendall and Piper Kukurin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Josephine (Hlasnick) Prodanovich; and his brother, Richard. He was the brother of Mary Jo (Chuck) Ronco, Timothy (Monica) and Charles (Tina) Prodanovich, Jr.; uncle of Steven (Erin) and Richard Evanchec, and Tim, Jeff, Nick, Chuck and Samantha Prodanovich. Joe was an employee of Norelco Co. of Pittsburgh and he also was an Uber driver. Joe was proud of his Braddock roots and the history of the area and, along with his dad, witnessed the constructing of the new Braddock dam. Joe was delighted to be a vendor at the North Versailles Flea Market and have the opportunity to meet new people every week. Joe was a craftsman, improving his home with his talent. But he most enjoyed sharing time, cheer and joy with his family and becoming their ultimate hero.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Maurice Church. Joe will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
