Rose Ann Brinker Obituary
Rose Ann (Carper) Brinker, 73, of Delmont, passed away peacefully Friday, July 28, 2017, in Excela Health Westmoreland, Greensburg. She was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late John and Rose (Slinkish) Carper. Rose Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Spending time with her family was very important to her. Rose Ann loved cooking, especially for the many family functions and holiday dinners she made extra special. Prior to retiring, she was employed as an office manager. She attended Cornerstone Ministries, Murrysville. Rose Ann also enjoyed gardening and was a volunteer at the Westmoreland County Food Bank, Delmont. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Brinker Sr.; and brother, Mike Carper. Rose Ann will be dearly missed by her beloved family. She is survived by her devoted children, Daniel C. Brinker Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Greensburg, David A. Brinker, of White Valley, Michelle C. Brinker, of North Huntingdon and Donald P. Brinker and his wife Renee, of Murrysville; brothers and sisters, John Carper (Beatrice), of Florida, Irma Rudnik (Eugene), of Jeannette, Donna Stewart (Carl), of Harrison City, Stella Crable, of Jeannette and Jo Ann Washek (Rick), of Harrison City; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Rose Ann will be especially missed by her nine grandchildren, Karlei (Sam), Kason, Candace, Kayla, Jaden, Marissa, Ethan, Cole and Myla; and great-grandchild, Kami, all of whom she treasured.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. Funeral services for Rose Ann will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Thomas of Cornerstone Ministries, Murrysville, officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will be private.
