Matthew P. Venturini Obituary
Matthew Perry Venturini, 36, passed, suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, his family announces with great sadness. Matt had an extraordinarily kind heart, was dependable, and was quick to help those in need. His quick wit and easy-going disposition made for fast and genuine friendships. Matt valued family and community, which he demonstrated through his actions every day of his life. He loved all three of his children dearly and treasured being their father. Matthew graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and Virginia Tech and continued his passion for learning throughout his life. He worked at Prince William County Schools in Virginia. He enjoyed reading books, baking, listening to all types of music ranging from AC/DC to Croatian folk songs, welding, riding motorcycles and, most of all, spending time with his children. Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Rebekah Venturini, and their daughter, Kiernan Marie Venturini, age two; and by his two sons, Giovanni Ash Bailey, age seven, with mother, Caroline Bailey, and Luca Ealley Venturini, age seven months, with mother, Rebecca Ealley; loving parents, Perry and Donna Venturini; cherished siblings, Jenna (Bill) Bernabe, Meghan Venturini and Dominic (Saya) Venturini; beloved grandparents, Ciro and Irene (Morosko) Venturini, and Mark and Sally (McCloskey) Kunf, of White Oak; and nephew and nieces, Gino, Mia, Samantha and Lena. Matt will be greatly missed by all of his relatives and friends, and especially by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-3454. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, in the funeral home, with procession and burial to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon.
