Cleda Muskovac Obituary
Cleda (Exacustides) Muskovac, 82, of Level Green, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, in her home. Cleda was born May 17, 1934, in West Homestead, a daughter of the late Gus and Ethel (Grindle) Exacustides. Cleda was a former member of the Level Green Women's Club. A stay-at-home mother who took care of her kids, she was involved and supported them with all their participation with their local and college sports, clubs and activities. She loved to play bingo, music, baking and cooking all her family's recipes. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, watching Pitt football and basketball, the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. Cleda enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Haley, by having sleepovers, shopping and going to the parks, and she enjoyed her grand-dogs, Tigger and Zoey. When her grandchildren who live out of town visited her she would make homemade stuffed cabbage. She would attend the East Pittsburgh Greek Festival every year. "Yia Yia" (which means grandma in Greek) was her nickname given by her grandchildren. Cleda was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Muskovac, in 2016; her brother, William Exacustides; and her sisters, Gertrude Miller and Mary Hyland. Cleda is survived by her children, Peter J. Muskovac Jr., of Florida, Cathy M. Muskovac, of Ebensburg, Eric W. Muskovac (Laura), of Michigan, and Marcy Aubele (Nicholas), of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren, Peter J. Muskovac III, Lauren, Cecilia and Mariana Muskovac and Haley Aubele; her two sisters, Phyllis Allen, of North Huntingdon, and Donnis Zawasky, of Lincoln Place; and brother, Gust "Bud" Exacustides of Cabot, Ark.
