Phyllis M. Miholovich Obituary
Phyllis Marie (Cannillo) Miholovich, 80, of Level Green, passed away peacefully to spend eternal life with her Lord and Savior Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in her home surrounded by her family. Born Sept. 18, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Petracca) Cannillo; the beloved and treasured wife of the late Mitchel Miholovich; loving and devoted mother of Cheryl (Miholovich) Trujillo, Lynn (Michael) Sinchak, Mitchel (Susan Aschenbrenner) Miholovich and Stephen (Lisa Mulally) Miholovich; dear sister to Vincent (Lisa Fischetti) Cannillo, Donna Davis (Timothy Rupert) and Marlene (Thomas) Komisak; grandmother to Amy (Tony) Teaman, Kristy Campbell (Ian Korekach), Julie Trujillo, Anthony Trujillo (Stacy Graham), and Stephanie Sinchak; great-grandmother to Tyler Campbell, Dylan, Brooke and Ava Teaman, Claire, Anna and Ella Korekach and Emily Trujillo; with nieces and nephews; and many friends, especially her dear friend, Carol Moody Crawford. Phyllis was a kind and giving woman, with a heart of faith, a forever love for her husband and a devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her love of animals, especially her little friend, "Mopsey", the wild bunny she fed every morning. A stay-at-home mom, she created a wonderful place to raise her family. Her homemade Italian food and Christmas cookies were family treasures. An avid Pittsburgh fan, she enjoyed watching the black-n-gold. Her strong Catholic faith, with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother, carried her throughout her life. The dedication and true love Phyllis had for her husband, Mitch, was a love like no other, a devotion and joy of more than 64 years. They will now share eternal life together with Jesus. Phyllis was truly a gift and a blessing to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. She walked by her faith, hope and love and the greatest of these was her love.
