Dehnad Taiedi Obituary
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, PA 15232 or to Allegheny Abused Animal Relief Fund (AARF), 99 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 330, Alexandria, Va. Condolences may be left at http://www.jeffersonmemorial.biz/.

This is very sad, I am so sorry to hear about Dehnad Taiedis passing. I was just searching for the address to a friend of the motel and saw the headlines. I am sad Pittsburgh lost a wonderful man.
A nice incident to share with the family-
About 8 years ago, my now husband and I were driving to New York from Tennessee and had somehow ended up in the area where this motel is located 3 hours later after dining in another town. My husband had left his wallet at the restaurant. I was hysterical, my debit card was in his wallet (long story), they offered to Fed Ex our wallet.. problem is was we were traveling to New York. I didnt remember the debit card number because I had just switched new banks. Anyhow, we we come across Jefferson Hills Motel and its midnight. We go on this office and I am hysterically crying I had luckily had rolled change in the car (I never carry cash), we ended being about $18 short, but Mr Taiedi barely said a word, as he got our names and paperwork, luckily I had my license on me.. long story short- the owner let us stay and get our belongings Fed Exd there. We stayed 2 days at this point (in the morning we called with the address and they sent that day and got there the next) without giving any money and it was so uncomfortable. I swear he was there all hours of the day I was wondering if he ever slept. LOL. I would constantly give him updates and he never acted worried. Finally, our package came and we couldnt pay fast enough. We ended staying 3 nights and were only charged for one night. He said he could tell how stressed I was etc. and to enjoy life not let things get you like this. I will never forget that act of kindness from a total stranger and someone who owned a business and depended on them rooms being filled.

Danny always supported local musicians and gave his time and life to local talent....I just found out he was just as dedicated to animals....WOW we lost a great guy.
