Regis James Carr Sr., 81, of Creighton, formerly of the North Side, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008. Beloved father of Richard (Karen) Carr, of Woodstock, Conn., Kathy (Jerry) Moser, of Pittsburgh, Cindy (Larry) Yingling, of Creighton, Nancy Bonito, of Indiana, Colleen Douglas, of Pittsburgh, and Rege Carr Jr., of Pittsburgh. Loving Pap Pap of Melissa (Michael) McGarvey, Michael (Beth) Pollard, Matthew Pollard, Larry Yingling Jr., Vikki Moser and Jaime Cowles, David Douglas Jr., Suzanne and Sara Al Saigh, Christian Bonito and Summer Haidze; and four great-granddaughters. Sadly missed by six devoted sisters; and his former wife, Mary Lou Carr, of Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He had a beautiful voice of which he was very proud and will always be remembered with a smile. Services will be private. Arrangements by the STEPHEN M. BRADY FUNERAL HOME, 412-321-0495.
