To Tony's family and friends,
My family lives across from the museum on Saint Charles Place, and we have for the last 13+ years. We were saddened to hear of his passing (we found out just this week). We enjoyed the times he blessed our family and neighborhood over the years. Continuing to pray for your family, for peace and comfort.

I toured Bayernhof Museum several times when Tony was curator there. Also, he was the former owner of one of my player pianos, a Wheelock Duo-Art. I enjoyed hearing from him about the history of the instruments at Bayernhof as well as that of my own.

To Tony's Family,
Sandy and I would like to express our condolences to all. We've known Tony since the 1990's, starting when he was restoring the musical players for the current Bayernhof Museum, in the days when it was still the residence of Mr. Brown's, long before Tony took over as curator. In his curator days, our family had many opportunities to visit with Tony, share in some of the ice cream socials that he threw, and enjoyed his Christmas train setups on top of the family room bar. He was always keen at showing off the latest status of the restoration of his own Wurlitzer 153 band organ. He will certainly be missed.

To the Family of Tony,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
I first met Tony in the early 60's when he use to come along with my cousin, Sandy, to my sister's parties. He remained a dear friend of our family all through the years. He always brightened up my day when he visited or when we talked and made me laugh. His passion for music and trains will always be remembered. He will be greatly be missed, but I guess God needed him for tuning and repairing the pianos for the music in heaven. Rest in peace, our beloved friend!!

To all of Tony's Family: my deepest and most sincere sympathy for the loss of this most special man. God not only broke the mold when he made Tony, he obviously improvised freely because Tony was like no other person I've ever known... all in wonderful ways. A great sense of humor, and a laugh that was absolutely infectious, (& I did love to make him laugh to the point that he could barely see...) Tony had amazing talents for music and machines and music machines, and there's many people could feel his passion in his work. And moreover, Tony was kind and generous. I was his friend in North Carolina for many years, and then my too infrequent trips to Pittsburgh,... It was never enough time.
I am certain that somewhere God had a celestial music machine that needed a true master's loving touch..., and so the Lord called Tony home.

I met Tony in 1988 working at a pipe organ company in Charlotte. We remained in contact after moving around. Tony and I always seemed to be on the same page with comments and wise cracks. If we weren't already thinking about the same thing he or I was saying it.
I will miss him and give the family my deepest sympathies.
