Clarence W. Lewis Jr. Obituary
Clarence W. Lewis Jr., 75, of Ohio Township, died peacefully Thursday, May 10, 2018, in St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Gibsonia. Born Nov. 15, 1942, in Lansing, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clarence W. and Janice Hope Minnix Lewis Sr. Clarence served his country and was a veteran of the Army. Upon being honorably discharged, he worked as a stock clerk for USAir. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aleppo Township. He is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret Ann Lewis, with whom he had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 20; his daughter and her husband, Kristina (Christopher) Lescinsky; three grandchildren, Kaia, Athena and August Iverson; a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd (Carol) Lewis; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia (Larry) Beaver and Melanie Lewis. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his son, Edward John Lewis.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME INC., 328 Beaver St., Sewickley, PA 15143. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at St. Mary's in Aleppo Township. Everyone is to please meet at the church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, where the Honor Guard will perform military rites.
Memorial contributions in honor of Clarence can be made to either the or Humane Animal Rescue, Pittsburgh.
