Louis M. Yadrick

Louis M. "Lou" Yadrick, 86, of White Valley, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, with his loving family by his side. He was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Ringertown, a son of John and Josephine (Ghelardi) Yadrick. Lou was a retired employee of the former Beckwith Machinery in Murrysville after 25 years of service in the parts department. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Delmont and was a Korean War Air Force veteran. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with his wife, but most of all he liked spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Lou was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Ryder; and son-in-law, Jeffrey Hanks. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Delores "Dee" (Britz) Yadrick; four loving daughters, Sherry McQuaide and her companion, Jimmy Ashley, of White Valley, Cathy Hanks, of Delmont, Susan Pendro and her husband, Chuck, of Enon Valley, and Luann Keifner and her husband, Tom, of Oakdale; cherished grandchildren, Louis McQuaide, Ashlie McQuaide, Casey Hanks, Shawn Hanks, Nicholas Keifner, Katie Pendro, Nathan Keifner and Dmitry Pendro; adored great-grandchildren, Angelina, Hunter, Carter, Haven, Logan, Logan, Kinley and Cindy; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export, 724-327-1400. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Salem Lutheran Church, Delmont. (Everyone please meet at the church.)
