Barry L. Gradischek Obituary
Barry L. Gradischek, 71, of Hempfield Township, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. He was born Feb. 6, 1946, in Greensburg, the son of the late Ruth (Frye) Gradischek Lavella and Francis Gradischek. Barry was a self-employed contractor and was the owner of B.G. Crest Construction Co. Inc., until his retirement. Barry was also a veteran of the Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lucas; and four brothers, Francis "Buck," Robert, Victor, and Dennis Gradischek; father-in-law, Bernie E. "Olie" Ketter; and a brother-in-law, Brian Ketter. Barry is survived by his wife, Adele M. (Ketter) Gradischek; sons, Barry James "B.J." Gradischek, and Nicola "Nick" DiMartino, and his wife, Colleen; and a daughter, Amie Lee Gradischek; four granddaughters, Haley and Lyla DiMartino, and Gracie and Isabella Gradischek; also survived by two sisters, Nancy McGurk, and her husband, John, and Debra Heatley, and her husband, George; three brothers, Billy, Donald, and Kenny Gradischek, and his wife, Angie; brothers-in-law, Edward Ketter, and his wife, Gladys, William Ketter, and his wife, Lisa; sisters-in-law, LuAnn Mills and Terri Ketter; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
