Marjorie C. Geary Obituary
Marjorie C. Geary, 95, of New Stanton, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 20, 1922, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Geneva (Timblin) and Frank Carroll. Marjorie was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Eastern Star in Irwin. Prior to retirement, she was a community coordinator for the Westmoreland County Office of Aging. She enjoyed playing bridge, camping, boating and raising her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Joseph W. Geary; a son, Wesley David Geary; and three brothers, David, Frank and Thomas Carroll. She was the last member of her immediate family. Surviving are her children, Carroll L. and husband, Carl Wagus, Susan E. and husband, Larry Smith, Stephen D. Geary and wife, Kathleen; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
