Mary C. Stevenson Obituary
Mary Christa "Chris" Stevenson, of Youngwood, formerly of New Stanton, died peacefully but unexpectedly at her home, Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. She was born Oct. 13, 1953, in Canonsburg. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Stevenson and Mary Josephine (Foley) Stevenson. Chris graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 1971. Chris attended the University of Pittsburgh. She was a bank teller for Charleroi Federal Savings Bank for many, many years. She is survived by her three brothers, Bill Stevenson, of Youngwood, Tom Stevenson and his wife, Emma, of Ruffs Dale, and John Stevenson and wife, Barb, of Greensburg. Chrissy is also survived by the loves of her life, her many nieces and nephews including: Jason Joseph and his wife, Leslie, of Youngwood, Billy Stevenson, of Latrobe, Katie Bryner and her husband, Chaz, of Ruffs Dale, Rachael Holloway and her husband, Josh, of Vandalia, Ohio, Amanda Kinney and her husband, Mark, of Kettering, Ohio, Lauren Stevenson, of Charlotte, N.C., Taryn and Gregg Six, of Greensburg, Madison and Bailey Bungard, of Youngwood, Madison Stevenson, of Pittsfield, Pa., Samuel and Ella Joseph, of Youngwood, Isaac Bryner, of Ruffs Dale, Sophia Holloway, of Vandalia, Ohio, Remi Kinney, of Kettering, Ohio, and Jonathan Stevenson, of Youngwood.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME, 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood, PA 15697. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
