Rose M. Grosely Obituary
Rose Marie Grosely, 70, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Augustine and Christina Pandolph Feola. Rose was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 1963. She was a member of Ascension Church, Jeannette, and had an enduring lifelong love of animals. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by an infant son, Martin Grosely Jr.; four brothers, Michael, Phillip, Joseph and Charles Feola; and two sisters-in-law, Helen and Judy Feola. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Martin Grosely; her children, Richard Grosely and wife, Christine, of Latrobe, Christopher Grosely and wife, Jeanene, of Columbus Ohio, and Louis Grosely and wife, Jillian, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Sarah, Haley, Samantha, Jessica, Andrea, Rocco, and Nico; her siblings, Henry Feola, Pasquale Feola and wife, Barbara, and Cecelia Austin and husband, David; and numerous loving nieces and nephews, especially Rosie and John Dreistadt. Rose's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Excela Health Hospice nurses and staff for all of the kind and compassionate care that Rose received in her final days.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. 2nd St., Jeannette. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday in Ascension Church, with Father Paul A. Lisik as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O. Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601.
