Ruth E. Paul Obituary
Ruth E. (Ilgen) Auman Paul, 80, of Delmont, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at home, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Lester G. and Mary K. (Foreman) Ilgen. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Greensburg Salem School District in the cafeteria. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Delmont, and more recently attended Murrysville Alliance Church. She was a member of the Cloverleaf Kitchen Band, Cloverleaf Club Organization and the local Red Hat Society, "Cloverleaf Cuties." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, Neil Auman; second husband of five years, Richard K. Paul; sister, Sarah K. Breon; and brother, George L. Ilgen. Ruth will be dearly missed by her beloved children, Barry C. Auman, of Delmont, Jerry N. Auman, Debra A. Kulka (Mark Kring) and Sheila D. Crystaloski (Brian), all of Greensburg; treasured grandchildren, Brandon and Courtney Auman, Erin and Mallory Kulka and Dylan and Taylor Crystaloski; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Susan Marshall, of Latrobe, Robin Klingensmith, of Apollo, Norma Jean Yanovich, of Harrison City, Carol Rutledge, of Monroeville, and Laurie Gascoine, of Mars; step-grandchildren; and extended family members and many friends.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. Funeral and committal services for Ruth will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Lawrence of Murrysville Alliance Church, officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will be private.
