Philip M. Cardone Jr. Obituary
Philip M. Cardone Jr., 57, of Export, died peacefully Friday, March 30, 2018, in Monroeville Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 5, 1960, in Pittsburgh, the beloved son of Philip Cardone Sr., of Penn Hills, and the late Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Cardone. Philip was employed as a custodian by Franklin Regional School District, Murrysville. He was an Army Corps of Engineers veteran during the Gulf War. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Export. He loved electronics and camping, and he taught eBay. Philip will be sadly missed by his beloved family. In addition to his father, Philip Sr., he is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Patricia (Blanck) Cardone; daughter, Tracie Cardone, of Export; sisters, Christine Lynn (David), Phyllis Macioce (Anthony) and Peggy Hoye (Keith); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. A blessing service for Philip will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Father Efren Ambre of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
