Lee Bevilacqua Obituary
Lee Bevilacqua, 79, of Derry, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 31, 2018, in the care of his loving children. Born March 2, 1939, in Clairton, he was a son of the late Louis and Cecelia (Novak) Bevilacqua. Prior to retiring, Lee was employed by the Johnstown Post Office in the maintenance department. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps. He was Christian by faith. Lee will be greatly missed by his children, Lee Bevilacqua Jr., of Blairsville, Mark Bevilacqua (Denise), of Irwin, Lisa Bertoni (Daniel), also of Irwin, and Cheryl Pacienza (Anthony), of Saltsburg; brother, Louis Bevilacqua; sister, Janice Ratica (Edward); five nieces, including Chrissy Beni (Barry); and six nephews. He will be especially missed by his loving grandchildren, Nicole Pacienza, Anthony Pratt, Jackie Bevilacqua and Michael Bertoni; and great-granddaughter, Alexis McKenzie. Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet T. (Sekuta) Bevilacqua; son, Jeffrey Bevilacqua; and sister, Lois O'Lear.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, PA (724) 468-1177. Funeral and committal services for Lee will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3, with Pastor Ken Loomis, of Cornerstone Ministries, Murrysville, officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will be private.
