Madeline A. Testa Obituary
Madeline A. (Vallozzi) Testa, 87, of Bovard, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, in Greensburg Care Center. She was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Fernando and Henrietta Vallozzi. Madeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was Catholic by faith. Madeline loved spending time with her family. She also loved singing, especially yodeling, having even made an album. She also enjoyed flower gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael C. "Chippy" Testa; daughter, Madeline Frances Malizia; son, Michael J. "Mikey" Testa; and granddaughter, Linda M. Williams. Madeline will be dearly missed by her daughters, Michele Drap (Barry), of New Alexandria, and Dana Lee Testa (Patricia Thompson), of California; sister, Virginia Cammarata, of North Carolina; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Madeline will be especially missed by her grandchildren, Joseph and Peter Malizia, Deborah Maruca and Abbie and Jackson Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Nicholas Malizia, Colton Williams and Samantha Pronko.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. Blessing and committal services for Madeline will be conducted at noon Friday in the funeral home with Monsignor Larry Kulick, of St. James Catholic Church, New Alexandria, officiating. Interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will be private.
