Jeanine Y. Hutchinson, 76, of Ligonier, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at her home, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. She was born March 21, 1940, in Yukon, a daughter of the late Jesse and Nellie Klegg Cochran. Prior to her retirement in 2003, she had been employed by Excela Latrobe Hospital for more than 22 years. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. Jeanine enjoyed crafts and was a noted seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell E. Peters. Jeanine is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Harry C. Hutchinson Jr.; eight children, Brenda (Michael) Hovance, of Loyalhanna, Cheryl (Robert) Losier Sr., of Derry, Donna (Richard) Starry, of Latrobe, Natalie Ann Carnahan, of Latrobe, Janet Hutchinson, of Ligonier, Russell (Jenny) Peters, of New Paltz, N.Y., Joyce (Edward) Armond, of New Alexandria, and Michael (Rebekah) Hutchinson, of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren, David (Elizabeth) Hovance, Christina (Brandon) Matsook, Robert Losier Jr., Rebecca (Erik) Barnhart, Jeremy (Tiffany) Losier, Benjamin (Rachel) Losier, James and Nicholas Chinchock, Brandi and Jonathan Peters and Katie Luther; seven great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Abigail, Maura, Dominic, Norah and Charlie; and five brothers, Gerald "Bud" Cochran, of Madison, William Cochran, of Dallas, Texas, Jack (Mary Jane) Cochran, of Herminie, John (Doris) Cochran, of Bixby, Okla., and Ray "Butch" Cochran, of Grapeville.
Friends and family of Jeanine will gather together from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the J. PAUL MCCRACKEN FUNERAL CHAPEL INC., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, where a service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with her pastor, the Rev. Charles P. Burd, officiating. Interment will follow in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
