Patricia Wojciechowski

1948 - 2016

Patricia "Tricia" Wojciechowski was granted her angel wings Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016. Our sister loved angels and would always say that they have assisted her in difficult times. Now she will be our angel. Tricia was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Monongahela. She attended Mon Valley Catholic and California University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work; and with this vocation she touched many lives. Tricia was employed most recently as a supervisor at Phil Haven Behavioral Health Care Provider in Mt. Gretna. Every visit there was full of adventure and hospitality. In 2005, she retired due to illness and moved to Greensburg. Tricia led a valiant struggle with health problems over the years, always pulling through a health crisis and ending up back on her feet. Her health problems never got in the way of her reaching out to help another in need. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, baking, decorating and attending garage sales. Preceding her in death were her parents, Leo and Helen (Fasekas) Wojciechowski; many aunts and uncles; and a close male friend, John Tepper. She is survived by her brothers, Leon and Gerald (Sylvia) Wojciechowski, all of Donora; sister, Donna (Rick) Dickinson; niece, Rebecca, and nephew, Ricky, and their dog Tia, all of Jeannette; cousins from various areas; and her dog, Bella, who misses her and looks out the window for her. The family would like to thank Westmoreland Hospital, Jeannette Dialysis Center, Dr. Kasser, neighbors and all of Tricia's angels.
A celebration of Tricia's life will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, in the Mason-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette, where service will follow at 3 p.m. One of Tricia's angels, Pastor Paul of St. Mathias, will be holding the service.
