Juanita C. Trees Obituary
Juanita "Nean" C. Trees, 88, of South Beaver Township, died Friday March 9, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver. Born Sept. 3, 1929, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Rayburn and Dorothy (Brady) Mitchell. She was a member of Chippewa United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Jo Kriz Circle, and she bowled for two leagues, the Early Birds and the Cool Cats, at White Township Bowling Center. She was involved in getting the Chippewa Pool installed and as a result, they named the baby pool the Juanita Trees Baby Pool. The greatest achievement in her life was being able to be a part of the history of five generations three times. She is survived by her children, Scott Trees, of Hopewell Township, Trent (Tracy) Trees, of Kennesaw, Ga., Arla (Robert) Cope Sr., of President, Pa., and Toma Trees, of Monterey, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Robert (Tempie) Cope Jr., Carrie (James) Walker, Patrick (Kelly) Cope, Anthony James "A.J." Trees, Todd Trees and partner, Jesse Komara, Emily McDonald and fiance, Joe Rolader, and Tanner Thompson; six great-grandchildren, Sara (Ryan) Milford and Nathan Lokar, and Andrew and Ashlee Cope, Tempy Lynn (Scott) Moore, and Presley Rolader; three great-great-grandchildren, Alania and Peyton Moore, and Elena "Ellie" Milford; two brothers, R. Brady (Marilyn) Mitchell, and John Mitchell and Lorraine Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Trees, in 2006; and a sister, Arla Gwynn, in 2016.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 4th Ave., Beaver Falls, PA 15010, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with her pastor, the Rev. Allan K. Brooks, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Chippewa United Methodist Church, 2545 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
