Patrick E. Campbell Obituary
Patrick E. Campbell, 70, of Sarver, Winfield Township, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 12, 1948, in West Deer Township, to the late John P. and Grace M. (Stratton) Campbell. Pat grew up in West Deer, graduating from West Deer High School in 1966. He served his country during the Vietnam War, achieving a rank of SP5, spending almost two and a half years in Germany. Pat was employed at the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale as a forklift driver for over 32 years. He loved riding his Harley and caring for his truck, though he especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Carol J. (Steighner) Smith Campbell; his children, Dawn (Ronald) Cimbala, of Virginia Beach, Va., Lora (Shawn) Covey, John (Debbie) Smith and Shane (Deserea) Smith, all of Butler, and Kandi Smith, of Winfield Township; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Pearl) Campbell, of West Deer, and Tim (Deb) Campbell, of Waterford, Mich.; sisters, Penny (Scott) Greig, of Beaver, and Terry (Francis) Morgan, of Louisa, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, with the Rev. Robert Henry officiating. He will be privately laid to rest.
