Timothy R. George Obituary
Timothy R. George, 54, of Kittanning, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at home. He was born Sept. 13, 1963, in Kittanning to H. Duane and Mary Jane (Good) George. He graduated from Ford City High School and Lenape Vo-Tech. Tim worked as a maintenance technician for Alpha Carb Enterprises in Leechburg. Tim was active in sports all his life. He enjoyed racing go-karts and ATVs at a younger age. He met his wife boating on the Allegheny River where they soon would become married. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and participated in leisure as well as professional bass fishing tournaments. He enjoyed watching motocross races and many years of dirt bike riding with his friends. He made trail ride trips across various states through ADVRider, of which he was a member. Most of all he loved his wife of 23 years and his two Labradors. Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years Cathy (Goodgasell) George, and his two Labradors, of Kittanning; his mother, Mary Jane George, of Kittanning; brothers, Rod (Jackie) George, of Kittanning, and Randy (Kim) George, of Kittanning; sisters Debra Borchard, of Palm Springs, Calif., Sandra Larocco, of Eleria, Ohio, and Pam (Nelson) Shaffer, of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, H. Duane George.
A private funeral service will be held at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning with the Rev. Dennis Howard officiating.
