Lorenzo M. Lewis

Lorenzo M. Lewis, 22, of New Kensington, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016. He was born Sept. 23, 1994, in New Kensington. He attended Valley High School. He was employed by Truelight Glass Works in Cheswick. Lorenzo enjoyed fine cologne and wearing designer Ralph Lauren Polo clothes. He was a junior soldier for eight years with the Salvation Army Church, New Kensington, and later attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he gave his life to Jesus Christ when he was 16. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. R. Lewis Sr.; brother, James W. R. Lewis Jr.; maternal grandmother, Shawnette Connors Cook; great-grandma, Pricilla Cook; and aunt, Cora. He is survived by mother, Nickole Cook Lewis; brother, Quincy Lewis; maternal grandfather, Edward Cook Sr.; paternal grandmother, Esther Haley; uncles, Edward Jr., David and Jermaine (Jennifer) Cook; aunts, NorLinda Cook and Randy and Maria Haley; and a host of cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at the Joseph Coat Community Outreach Ministry, 1512 Leishman Ave., Arnold. A homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at the church with the Rev. Teralyn Bossio officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the JOSEPH J.
