Jeffrey A. McLaughlin

1964 - 2017

Jeffrey A. McLaughlin, 53, of Allegheny Township, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, in his residence. A son of Alfred Howard "Gouch" McLaughlin and the late Shirley M. (Berry) McGuire, he was born Feb. 16, 1964, in New Kensington. Jeff was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Charlotte (Henry) McLaughlin, of Tarentum; his son, Zachary Shane McLaughlin, of Middleburg; his daughter, Heidi Ann McLaughlin, of Waynesboro; his sister, Laura Lewis (Randy), of Leechburg; brothers, James McLaughlin (Tracy McCartney), of Maryland, Tim McLaughlin (Angela), of New Jersey, Alfred "Butch" McLaughlin, of Leechburg, Doug McLaughlin, of Leechburg, and Bob McLaughlin, of Vandergrift; stepsister, Lori Bottles, of Vandergrift; stepbrothers, James "Andy" McGuire (Bobbi), of Natrona Heights, and Doug Mills, of Tarentum; his fiancee, Denise L. McGuire, of Allegheny Township; his stepchildren, Jordan Tressler, of Tarentum, Ashley Kendall, of Leechburg, and Courtney Kendall, of Allegheny Township; numerous nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, James R. McGuire, and a brother, Kenneth McLaughlin.
There will be no public visitation. Ceremonies and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral and Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg (724-842-1051).
