David Ray Childers David R. Childers born July 4, 1949 in Kremmling, CO passed away January 18, 2015 in Gig Harbor, WA. He loved travel, boating and fishing, especially in Alaska. David was a "fixer of everything" and the joker of the family who had a great sense of humor. His greatest love was his family and spoiling the grandkids. David is survived by his wife Lois R. Childers; daughters Lisa (Jesse) West and Brenda Snider; step-daughter Cheryl (Gary) DeCoursey; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Praise Covenant Church, 3501 S. Orchard, Tacoma, 98466. CROOKSHANK Sr., RONALD  
Ronald Leslie Crookshank Sr. Age 82, from Auburn, WA, passed away peacefully at his home on January 22, 2015. Survived by wife Netta Jane Crookshank, and four children, Ronald Crookshank, Jr., Dawn Hardwick, Westley Crookshank, and Kelly Harris, as well as 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, two brothers, James Crookshank and Robert Crookshank, and two sisters, Alice Mays and Louise Holding. Memorial service will be held at Auburn Eagles, 702 M Street SE, Auburn, WA, on Thursday, January 29th, 2015, from 1:00 - 4:00pm. CAMP, WILLIAM  
William Allen Camp Age 62, passed away January 8, 2014 at home in Port Orchard following a short fight with Pancreatic Cancer. Last year Bill retired from the Bremerton Shipyard after 33 years. Bill enjoyed fast cars, women, and photography. A rebel to the end. He was preceded in death by his father Al Camp. He is survived by his wife Diane Camp, mother Charlotte Runyan, siblings Alfred Camp and Daisy Brown, and sons Will Camp and Steven Camp. Memorial is Sunday, January 25 at 1:30 pm at Sunnyslope Improvement Hall, 5830 SW Old Clifton Rd in Port Orchard.

CAMPBELL, KATIE  
Katie Lynn Campbell A loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and niece passed away at the young age of 29 on January 13th, 2015 in Tacoma. She was born in Puyallup to Allen and Kathy Campbell of Port Orchard on December 27th, 1985. Katie is survived by her daughter Josaphine, son Landon, father Allen, mother Kathy, brothers Jeff and Cory Campbell, sisters Alyssa Powell and Shelley Campbell, and paternal and maternal grandmothers Priscilla Anton and Joyce Caudill, as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. All of her family and friends will miss her so very much. Katie was a very charming and caring girl with a huge personality and an infectious laugh. She had an innate ability to make you forget your troubles with just a few words and the twinkle in her eyes. Katie loved to shop and sing karaoke and was always the life of the party. Katie was lovingly called by her father 'his little bird in the wind.' She still is that little bird, only now she is flying with the angels. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24th, at 2:00 p.m. at Burley Bible Church, 14687 Olympic Drive SE in Port Orchard. There will be a celebration of her life at the church after the service for family and friends. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Please bring a memory to share of the girl that we all loved so much.

CHANEY, CAROL  
Carol S Chaney Age 60, of Bonney Lake, passed away on Jan. 18, 2015. She was born in Sewickley, PA on May 1, 1954 to John and Betty (Turner) Bellish. The youngest of four children, she moved with her family to San Fernando, CA, and met and married her high school sweetheart, Michael Chaney, in Granada Hills, CA. Carol worked for Dan McClung with State Farm Insurance for over 36 years. She is survived by her husband Michael Chaney Sr. of Bonney Lake, son Michael Jr. (Tammy) Chaney, daughter Jessica (Mike) Sommer, sisters Paula Plaisance and Kris Metter, eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner. Mom was such a generous and giving woman; she put everyone's needs above hers. She touched many lives and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Carol's name.

CHERNUT, ROSE  
Rose E. Chernut April 25, 1940 - January 17, 2015 Rose was born to Isabel (Yerbury) and Ralph Pasquale in Tacoma, WA on April 25, 1940. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Jim, and five infant sons, Ralph, Anthony, Gregory, Christopher, and Joseph. Rose is survived by son Patrick Chernut and daughter Jennifer Chernut, both of Tacoma. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter Jamie Rose, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

COLLINGE, FRANCIS  
Francis Brooks Collinge Born in Evanston, IL on Mar. 13, 1936 to Eleanor and Francis Collinge; passed away Dec. 19, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. Frank leaves Pat, his wife of 55 years, their three children, Julie Collinge-Eggerding (Tom), John (Brenda), and Alan, plus grandchildren Maddie and Josie Eggerding, Jeremy and Johnny Collinge, and step-granddaughter Sasha Oberholzer. He is also survived by sister Eleanor Remol (John), niece Shane, nephew John, and their families. Although Frank grew up in Tenafly, NJ, he considered the family retreat on Lake Superior home. Frank studied Political Science at UC Berkeley and received his Ph.D. from the U of WA. He had a 15-year career as a professor before joining Pat in their glassworking business, The Glass Menagerie. For 15 years they appeared at the Puyallup Fair, art shows, and other events around the area. But Frank's great love was working with wood. On retiring, he started University Place Custom Woodworking and built beautiful custom furniture for customers and friends. Frank was a gentle, loving man with a whimsical sense of humor and a powerful intellect. We will miss him every day. The family invites friends of Frank to an informal memorial and celebration of his life 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, 2123 Mountain View W, University Place.
