Gerald Foss

Gerald R. Foss Gerald R. Foss (Jerry) passed away at home January 3rd after a 8 month battle with cancer. He was a brave heart and didn't leave this world without a fight. He was born February 11, 1941 and was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Wanda Foss, and grandaughter Maci Meri. Jerry, a graduate of Wilson High School, owned and operated two successful businesses, Foss Tire and Foss Car Audio. In 1998 he retired, and with his wife Sharlene, enjoyed traveling in their RV and spending time with their 4 sons, 10 grandchildren, a 2 great grandsons. Jerry leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Sharlene (Gillis); son Jerry jr. (Elizabeth) Foss; grandsons Nicholas (Maile) Foss; great grandsons Jackson and Dylan; grandsons Jason and Sean; son Randy (Allene) Foss; grandaughter Amy, grandson Colby; son Tyler (Jackie) Foss; grandson Christopher, grandaughter Lauren; son Chris (Traci) Foss; grandaughters, Shayla, Mylie, and Brooklyn. Jerry was well loved and respected by his family and extended family. We will miss all his phone calls, especially his advice and helpful suggestions! The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Hospital. Thank you for taking such good care of our "Papa". A Memorial Service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 7th at Mountain View in Lakewood (Valley Chapel).
