AARON HIXENBAUGH Obituary

Aaron Karl Hixenbaugh Aaron was born in Aurora, Colorado on November 5, 1951 and passed away August 9, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. He resided in Bonney Lake, WA. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Amy; and sons, Brandon, David, and Brian. He was predeceased by his father, Albert, and survived by his mother, Sandra, and sisters Lyna and Lisa, (Howard), brother, Alex, (Klari), their children, Michael and Andrea; along with numerous extended family and friends that were close at heart. He was a proud and devoted father and loving husband; who appreciated his family, colleagues, friends and neighbors. Aaron had traditional values and strong convictions. He always put others before himself. Aaron worked hard but he also knew how to have a good time. He especially liked ocean beaches, fishing, computer games and music. He enjoyed traveling with his family to Holland, Hawaii and Italy and planned yearly fishing trips with his boys. Before graduating from Auburn High school Aaron became interested in banking .He started working at Pacific National Bank of Washington in 1967 rolling coins. Later he became a part-time teller and bookkeeper. After graduating from WSU he worked at several banks in Washington and Oregon and then worked for Mid-Continent Computer Services. Aaron was devoted to learn and excel in many departments of banking. He worked as an Operations Officer, Customer Service Supervisor, Controller, and Consultant. Aaron was instrumental in founding the Bank of Fife in1992 and then Fife Commercial Bank in 1998. For twenty years he enjoyed serving as Vice President/ Chief Financial Officer. A celebration of life gathering will be held September 8, 2012, at 2 pm at the Swiss Sportsmen's Club, 9205-198th Ave. E., Bonney Lake, WA If you wish to make a donation in Aaron's memory please choose a charity of your choice.
