MARGARET FREDRICKS Obituary

Margaret Fredricks Margaret Ann (Anderson) Fredricks passed away on July 20. She was born to Swedish immigrant parents Esther and Andrew Anderson on Sept. 26, 1919. Margaret grew up on a Waller Road farm and graduated from Stadium High School and attended business school. She was married for 62 years to Harmon Fredricks, who preceded her in death in 2003. Margaret worked for KMO radio and as a secretary for Tacoma Public Schools. Throughout her adult life, she was a member of Central Baptist Church. A long-time resident of Fircrest, she spent her final years at Life Manor Assisted Living. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Linda Marie Plett (James) and Janice Lorraine Slater (Lonnie), six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, July 28 at New Tacoma Cemetery's Chambers Creek Chapel.

My family was a neighbor to the Fredricks during the early 60's. I grew up in Linda and Janice's back yard. My condolences to her family.
