SHARYN BALES Obituary

Sharyn Bales My sweet valentine passed away February 14, 2012 from complications due to a severe respiratory infection. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe (Felix), sons Cory and Randy, beautiful granddaughters Madison and Aly, her mother, brother, and two sisters, as well as extended family and friends. Sharyn worked as a secretary at Curtis Junior High School for more than 20 years, where she touched the lives of many students, some of whom became lifelong friends. She and he husband have been retired for the past seven years. They enjoyed their yearly visit to Maui, cruising the Sound on their boat, each other's company, and most of all spending time with their granddaughters. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff on TG's 5th floor IUC Unit and at UW Medical Center for all of their loving care and support. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 at St. Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church, 3615 N. Gove. Please make a memorial donation to the American Lung Association on her behalf.

Hi Felix,
My condolences to you, Cory and Randy and the rest of the gang.
Even though we didn't spend time together recently I have many, many fond memories of the hours Jon and I spent with you, Sharyn and the boys on camping trips, boat outings, parties, family dinners and Sunday afternoon "Poker Parties" at Lorene and Fritz's.
These times and memories will live in my heart forever
I love you and Sharyn so much and grieve her loss with you.

Felix and family...There are times when the right words don't exist to express our sorrow over Sharyn's passing. We were lucky to be a part of her extended family and will always remember the thoughtfulness that Sharyn shared. If heaven is anything like Disneyland...she is in the happiest place.
