Please accept my condolences. Andy and I worked together at the State of Washington, Securities Division. When Barbara passed away, John Maxwell and I went to the funeral and talked with Andy (we were both retired). Andy and I were lucky enough to take in a Mariner's game when the Boston Red Sox came to town (I wish we had done more of that). I went over to Andy's house a couple of times and we drank scotch together (I believe that scotch and water was Andy's favorite drink). I will miss Andy a lot.
I will not be able to attend the funeral because we will not be returning to Washington until the end of May.
