Nada:
When I turned the page to the obituaries in the News Tribune and saw Dave's picture, I didn't even need to look at the name. I remember fondly the working relationship you and I had at the bank. Dave's periodic visits were special, he always had a greeting and a kind word. I will never forget the time he sold one of the bank cars for a pretty good price and I thanked him for a great job. Dave said to me in the parlance of all folks that have ever sold cars "So Jim, does that mean I was high-grosser for the week!" God be with you and your family in your grief, He can do all things.

Nada, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. I always thought the two of you made such a sweet couple! It was fun being around the both of you. It seemed like Dave always had a smile on his face. It is probably because he had such a sweet wife by his side. He will be missed! With Much Love and Hugs- Linda Sinclair & Family

Having known all four Hughes brothers, some since 1955, and worked with each one at one time or another I can attest to the splended abilities and unlimited accomplishments of David Hughes. Each one of the Hughes brothers lived complicated lives, and like Dave overcame many challeges. David Hughes was possibly one of the best salesman and car men in the business. Dave was very likable and made many friends every where he went. Each brother had their own special personality but Davids was one no one will ever forget. He will be missed but be assured the Hughes family tradition will always live on.
My very best wishes go to Davids family and loved ones.
Ride on and travel to your new home in the style you have always been known for David Patrick Hughes;
Respectfully;
Ray Harley

Our heartfelt condolence to you, Nada, & all of the family. We have so many happy memories of all the times we got together over the last 30 years. Dave had such a good outlook & battled the effects of the stroke right up to the end. May the Lord bless you, Nada, for being a wonderful caregiver. We love you.

Nada,

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing this week. I'm so glad that Sis. Lewis and I had such an enjoyable and fun time visiting with the two of you back in December. Dave's sense of humor added such a great spark to his endearing personality. Please know that we love you and you are in our thoughts and prayers! Love, Jayne Criddle and Family
