It was delightful having Vera join our Benchmark horseracing group. She loved the horses and was always there to cheer them on. The jockeys will have an extra spirit helping them in the future.

To all of Vera's family--How lucky you were to have had such a remarkable lady in your lives for so many years. Vera knew everyone in Auburn since about 1925! She enjoyed every minute of her life and never let any grass grow under her feet. I will remember all the fun we had, the places we went, and what a grand person I had a chance to know and love. I'm so glad she got her "Life's Story" done. I will miss Vera but will never forget that she touched my life.
