We would like for all of Janelle's family to know that the CCSD Audiology Department was pleased and honored to know Janelle. For just a few weeks she came to us for her "Practicum". She was very quiet but you could feel the excitement and anticipation in her as she was to be completing her studies soon. We want to offer our heart-felt condolences to her entire family, especially her daughter Kylie. May you be comforted by the love that she had for all of you and all of the love you had for her. I love you so much and I will miss you. You are an amazing aunt and you have done so much for so many people and you were a true blessing for all of us. For reasons we don't understand, God called you home much too early in your life. The shining star that was once here on Earth, will now forever burn brightly in the Heavens above us. When I think about Janelle all I feel is happiness. She always made me laugh and I will miss that. I will never forget all the times we had together as kids and in Hutchinson. I have so many memories of her helping me plan my wedding. I know she is heaven smiling down on us. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of her family & friends. I love you Janelle!

Janelle you were such a great friend. We met at Nevada State College and had a difficult but fun journey getting our bachelors and starting our careers. You were a great friend throughout and I truly enjoyed your upbeat attitude and smile. I am grateful for your friendship, you will be missed.

Janelle was my very first friend here in Las Vegas when I moved here in 2007. I feel so lucky to have met her and spend time with her. She was so thoughtful and made everyone feel special. I will always remember her as one of my closet friends.

My daughter is friend's with Kylie, Janelle's daughter. She told me this morning the sad news. My daughter had Mrs. Whalen as a substitute at David M. Cox Elementary several times and truly enjoyed her as a substitute. My heart goes out for Janelle's surviving loved ones. Children losing a mother at such a young age is heartbreaking.
