Maam...I am so glad that you have been
part of my life. No one could tell a
story like you could, and they always made me laugh. I will miss that, and I
will miss you.

I know you are resting peacefully now "Mammy". We are all missing you.
I only wish others could have gotten to know you, especially these last few years that you had let God into your life. Bless you

For as far back as I can remember Grance called this place "Life School". I guess she has now graduated. The memories of our long talks over a hot cup of coffee, or a shared bowl of hot "something", will forever be some of my lifes favorite moments. I know your happy now Grance. I know your with Pope, Pam, Troy, Shon, Uncle Wayne, Uncle Bud and so many more that were there to welcome you home. Tell them all hi for me and give Troy a big hug!!!

Since I've moved away, my visits home have been more and more sparse. However, in visiting a few years back, Nanny and I were able to reconnect for a too-brief conversation early in one afternoon. We were surrounded by her completed crosswords (an ability I've striven diligently to attain but I consistently come up a few squares short) and our conversation was pleasant. The time lapse between then and now is considerable; fortunately, my fond memory of her will certainly prove to be much longer-lasting.
