Leonard Dwight Wall Passed away peacefully on May 18, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was 79. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 53 1/2 years, Roberta Gleason Wall, his two daughters, Lauri Corliss (Michael) and Terri Watson (Kelly), two grandchildren, Katie Darneille and Thomas Darneille, and his beloved dogs, Daisy and Cody. Len was born on March 20, 1934 in Tacoma, WA, the youngest of nine children of Emmett Parnell Wall and Mary Elizabeth Brock Wall. He graduated from Sumner High School in 1952, and attended the University of Washington before enlisting in the US Marine Corps, where he served in Korea from 1954 to 1957. He married Roberta on November 14, 1959, and they raised their family in the Pacific Northwest, settling in Federal Way in 1975. He had a long and successful career with Western Farmers Association. Len took pride in his family and home. He was an accomplished craftsman and woodworker. His interests included politics, landscaping, crossword puzzles, and sports, especially Husky football. He will be remembered as a quiet, private man, intelligent and loving, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A private celebration of Len's life will be held on July 28, 2013. The family would like to thank the Critical Care staff at Good Samaritan Hospital for their wonderful care and support.
