LUCILLE CLANCEY

Lucille Meeker Clancey Lucille was born Aug. 8th, 1918 to Glenn and Laura Meeker in Canada, and passed from this life on May 2nd, 2013 at Regency of Puyallup. Survived by her loving daughter Colleen (Sam) McBride, son Patrick, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Bill, her son Terry, several sisters, one brother, many nieces and nephews and friends. Lucille lived a full, happy life in Iowa, California, Hawaii, and Washington. She was a beautiful, kind person, who loved and was loved by all. She will live forever in our hearts. Lucille became a LPN in her fifties, and enjoyed working with the elderly, walking, reading, and garage sales. We thank the wonderful staff at Regency for their loving care of Mom this past year. Services will be at All Saints Parish in Puyallup, WA at 9:30 am Saturday, May 11th, 2013 (253-845-7521). Committal service following at Sumner Cemetery in Sumner. Reception to follow at Sam and Colleen's in Bonney Lake. We are asking everyone to wear bright colors or Hawaiian prints (pink was her favorite color) to honor Mom's love of all things Hawaiian.
