AARON BROWN Obituary

Aaron Richard (Dick) Brown, Jr. A 37-year resident of Gig Harbor passed away on March 17, 2011 at the age of 87. Richard was born May 10, 1923 in Dover, New Hampshire; he graduated from Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Maine and from the University of New Hampshire with a Degree in Civil Engineering; a profession he enjoyed and practiced until his health deteriorated in late 2010. Richard was an avid sailor, gardener, and collector of sports memorabilia, vintage automobiles and bicycles. Richard is survived by his wife, Patti, his children Greg, Jocelyn, Rebecca, Douglas, and Aaron (Skip), eleven grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Richard earned the Eagle Scout Badge and cited teachings from his scouting days throughout his life; memorial donations may be sent to the Boy Scouts of America.
