Adrienne,
It seemed fitting hearing about your plight 10 minutes before you left this world, being we started this life so young together. You were the sister I never had and always wanted. I remember holding hands and saying prayers as we watched the sun go down, while frolicking in the waves. I remember sneaking out of your Grama's house as teens, not for mischief but to buy early morning donuts at the nearby bakery.I remember the the midnight talks that made us better people. If I ever knew someone from the inside out it was you and you wanted a world without pain and a world of bliss for your daughter. That is all you ever wanted and now I believe you have found it. Sometimes the world doesnt appreciate beauty such as you. I loved every moment you had to offer ...for your truth was refreshing and your constant quest for self discovery.. courageous. I love ya best friend...and miss you terribly! Brian, David.. we may have all grown up but in my heart we never did. And Kristina.. she loved you beyond words! She lived as long as she did in this world becuz you were in it.Thank you Adrienne for loving me, unconditionally and with all you had within you. I love you and will forever miss you, you enriched my life!

Though it’s been many years since I saw Adrienne in person, I primarily remember her sweet smile. She was always bright-eyed. I knew her during a few months while I was in Alaska’s Matanuska Valley in 1977. I am grateful for my friendship with her brother, Brian, over these many years who has kept me informed about his siblings as they have all grown up.
I have fond memories of the Crawford’s, Pat and Marilyn, Brian, Larry, David, Adrienne, and Tami. They came to Los Angeles over 30 years ago and we spent some additional precious time together. I was happy to introduce them to my parents and both families spent time together. Their visit included all the, then, young teens and children having a great time swimming in my parent’s swimming pool.
Although I have not had the opportunity to get to know Kristina and the extended family, I know Adrienne had a desire to do good and a great capacity for love. As her memory lives on in each of us, so too does her spirit live on. May your memories of such a dear mother, sister, niece, and aunt live on within each of you until we all shall meet again and be reunited.
With sympathy and love,
Scott and Linda Von Der Lohe

Dear Kristina and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. We sat on my deck one afternoon a few years ago and talked about life and how difficult it can be sometimes. I love talking about my children and how special they are to me, so she started telling me about you and how she had just spent the weekend with you at her mother's and how much fun you had together. Her whole face lit up! You were the the light of her life...and I'm sure you will make her proud with yours. May God Bless you and Guard you always, in everything you do sweetie.

Adrienne,
I remember when Tom proposed how happy I was to finally be getting a "sister"! You and I shared many special times and one of the greatest things you ever did for us was give us Kristina - we will forever have a part of you in her. RIP Adrienne.
