Arthur Rose Obituary

Arthur Lee Rose Age 66, passed away on 4/17/2011 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born to Arthur S. Rose and Mamie I. Petersen Rose in Bellingham, WA on 11/13/1944. He grew up in Seattle, attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and attended Franklin and Roosevelt High Schools. After high school in 1963 Art married his sweetheart Malinda M. Goss. He served in the Army and was stationed in New Jersey and Germany. He graduated from Western Washington University in 1972 with an accounting degree. In his life Art held many jobs from bus driver to CPA, but focused mainly in the marine industry and computers. In his spare time Art enjoyed spending time with his boys, reading, writing computer code, spirited discussions, and later in life, sailing. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his sister Betty Ann Beebe, sons Alex, Jason, Colin, and Trevor, and his grandchildren Tyler, Katelyn, and Eliott. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 5/21/2011, at Evergreen Washelli in Seattle at 1pm.
