BARBARA KONRAD Obituary

BARBARA JANE KONRAD Barbara Jane Konrad passed away peacefully on April 29, 2011. Her celebration of life began in San Francisco on September 4, 1931. Barbara's greatest gift was her unwavering positive attitude and "joie de vie". Barbara taught us all how to live fully and intentionally, even in the midst of the most trying time. For those closest to her, John, her husband, children, Karen, Steven and Kristin, grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, and Riley, and her sister, Gretchen, she was both an anchor and a sail. Barbara's brilliant light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her. May we too live our lives with such grace and ease. A memorial service will be held on Monday May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and Providence Hospice Care.

A beautiful woman inside and out. She was a great gift to friends and family; and yes, her positive attitude came through to everyone who met her. Her children were blessed with a wonderful Mother and we are so sorry for their loss. With love,
Tom and Lois Ashley
