March 5, 2011

Bobby & I are saddened by the loss of Bernie as now he makes his final journey. He graced our yard every other Monday for the last 14 years to pick up cans, tell stories and jokes, to shed tears of joy and sorrow and to bring us his colorful dahlias. Our lives will have a huge hole in them as we realize the finality of those days. We send our love to his family at this difficult time.. may his memories live in all of us forever.
