Bernie, You would have corrected my last year, It was 11 years now 12 years since you went home. I still have the picture of me and you, The Stylin', profilin', mustang riding, top rope flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun! With a big giant WOOO!! It never gets any easier when we lose someone we really love and words are harder to find. But God has given me an amazing life and family that I believe He will bring us back together. Bernie, You and always will be the conversation of angels in our family. Happy Anniversary.

Bernie, 10 years and it sometimes seems longer but with so vivid memories. One of the most punctual people I know. Always new what time breakfast was, what time the bus was gonna pick you up for work, time to help Grandma with dishes, 8:00 on the dot for your cereal, and all the times wrestling was gonna be on. I miss the times I can give you the sun glasses and we go cruise,(even if it was just to jack in the box). Shopping at Safeway and Costco. Or even just watching you set examples for all of us on how to be amazing. Funny thing, you are that unspeakable anger that God talks about in the Bible. Always grateful.
Your missed a lot and will live in my heart forever.

Wow, Bernie, 10 years have gone by and you are missed daily. We laugh and we cry but we thank God for the special gift he gave us. You have been such a joy and a memory and I share your story every chance I get.
I prayed, Heavenly Father, you gave us such a blessing and I am thankful. Bernie made a permanent impact in my life and that was directed from you. Lord thank you for the spirit Bernie had and allow us not only to set examples you have commanded us but the love as well Bernie shared. I am blessed with having You as my Lord and Savior. Bernie, my brother. It has been 7 years today and sometimes it seems lingers cuz your not here but then it just seemed like yesterday when I watch wrestling or think about cruising in my mustang when you were trying to pick up chicks and playing poker/slots at the David Cassidy concert. Well I miss ya and have some news for you. Today is not only a special day to be thankful you went to see our Heavenly Father but it is the day that Alyssa is getting married. You were a stud and still have yours and mine picture of us all dressed up. I love you and greatful God have us you.

Mr, Bernie Goetz, I know your looking down and keeping an eye on all of us here. But that doesn't take the sting out of missing you. Knowing that your in Heaven with Grandma and Grandpa and Our Savior Jesus Christ. I still go through your pics and yearbook and the ribbons you won for bowling to high school, The hardest thing about life is knowing that I have to wait to see you again. I Miss you so much and want to say thank you for you> Bernie you are the real deal, No one can ever compare here on earth to what you stood for. Bernie when I say real deal I mean it, You had compassion, you didnt hide your feelings no matter the issue. I thank you for that transparency. My uncle Bernie, how I miss you dearly and cannot stop thinking about your smile and how happy you are wrestling comes on. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, grandma, and grandpa. I have that letter you wrote after grandma went to be with Grandpa, and it says, " Dear mom and dad I hope you are happy again I love you both you are dancing in heaven I miss you take care love Bernie". I know everybody tells me I need to learn how to let go and I have tried but I cannot let go of missing you grandma and grandpa. Bernie, My Uncle and Angel. You have been on my mind everyday, I wear the bracelet and kiss it every morning and tell you I love you before I put it on. Its hard for me not to cry when I speak of you and tell your story. It is an amazing story that will never die, just like your spirit. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, Grandma and Grandpa and it don't get easier to know that I cant come see you in person and hug you and get those phone calls. I went to Church this last Sunday and we watched a small video about honoring someone special in your life and I prayed with the Lord and thanked him for you in my life and I honor you. You have made an impact on so many lives and I am Thankful for you. I could write my feelings down about how much you mean to me and all the great things about you but it would take forever. Its hard for me to call Aunt Rosie or Judy and talk about you without breaking down and thats why I try not to call them much. I dont want to upset them and make them cry. Bernie, I know you know whats happening in Wrestling before we do, But I wanted to let you know that Hulk Hogan became a good guy and Sting put him in his place. Brotha, I dont go a day without thinking about you, Grandma and Grandpa (dont let them beat you in Shaft...lol) I cant seem to let go of the fact that you are gone and I keep waiting for a phone call from you atleast once a week. Hi Bernie, It's been a couple of days since my birthday and I just wanted you to know how much I missed you singing "Happy Birthday" to me. Bill and I went out to the cemetery to see you ,mom and dad. Your head stone is in and looks real nice. Bernie, I Love You so much and always will. You had a way of always making me smile and laugh even if I was not in a good mood. You are an awesome man. Never a harsh word came out of your mouth and you cared for so many people unconditionally. You will be truly missed. Heck, who will watch the Seahawks with me next year and sit on the couch squealing the way you did when Seahawks got a touchdown or yelling at the opposing teams coach when he hides his face behind his clipboard (only Pete is allowed to do that) LOL. I will miss the nights when you would stay overnight and ask just before going to bed, "What's for breakfast?" You know you would get what you wanted. If I had it that was. Though we are so far apart, you will always be near to us. I remember how you wanted me to find you the cassette of Bound for the Promised Land. But then CD's came out, and you wanted it on CD, too! And after much searching, I found it. But where did you put it? I looked for that, and your picture that you showed everybody, and we can't find either! And I am left remembering your love for the Partridge Family! I sent you their DVD series, and after you saw a DVD player, you wanted on for yourself! I remember how you marked your calendar with "Curt", so you could ask him to find one for you. Grandma made you mark it for 2 wks later, so that you wouldn't hound him too often! She knew that you wouldn't give Curt a break, and would remind her daily unless she did that. If we said something, you held us to our word. It didn't take much to make you happy, and you gave us so much more happiness then we gave you. Bernie, I love you, and miss you. Thanks for writing to me, and our talks on the phone. I'll check back and share more memories later. Say hi to everyone up there! I'm glad you're in the Promised Land now.

Bernie, a person could not ask for a better brother then you. You always had smile for me when we would meet. I will miss the wrestling talks and your lovely smile and cute little smile when you would say "I know" and giggle. You are so kind and have such a loveing heart - you are the only person that has lived on this earth for 51 years and have never said a bad word about anyone no matter what they would say or have done - except for the bad guys on wrestling. I will miss you so much.

I lived right next to your sister Rose and i grew up with you your brother and neices and nephews.You were always like apart of our family too. YOU WERE AMAZING. ONE TIME AFTER WE HAD ALL GREW UP.
