She was a wonderful lady and great care of me as a youngster while my folks worked. I remember her fondly along with the chicken noodle soup lunches.

I'm not sure why I thought of Aunt Betty today, and then I I had a feeling to look in the obits. I'm sorry. I still miss my Dad, but now they can visit. I'll never forget her Red Velvet Cake!

I remember your mom and dad at Bethany. They were an important part of the church and so well liked. My heartfelt sympathy to the whole Hosfield family. My prayers are with you at this time. It is so hard to lose parents.... we miss ours too. Margaret Anderson Smith (Lloyd & Lucille Anderson's youngest daughter) .

I'm so sorry for your loss, Dale and family. I remember how much my Mom and Dad (Lloyd & Lucille Anderson) enjoyed your parents at Bethany. Remember, Dale, our youth group...Frisko Freeze???
I'm sure your Mom and Dad are enjoying visiting with my Mom and Dad...Mom passed away in 2009 and Dad in 2010!
Will remember you and your family in prayer...blessings to your family!

I was saddened to hear of Bettys passing. I spent many and enjoyable Saturday playing with Dale, Doug and Kathy in Ruston while my mom and day worked. We lost track of her and I missed her on my last trip home and the age of my remaining family members contributed the communications breakdown. I will certainly miss her warm smile on future visits to Tacoma. The old personal connections are getting fewer and fewer.

Heartfelt sympathy to family of a special Ruston School classmate growing up friend of mine. Betty and I went through the 8 grades together, have lots of pictures of those days when we walked home from school together. Knew her parents, Merrit and Bill also - and to say the least all Tallman relatives living in Ruston. Lost contact with Betty but had heard she was living in University Place. Both born in 1923 and birthdays close to one another. Just a few of the classmates still kicking. I myself in good health still active in providing music for the enjoyment of others. (organist for Elk's Club in addition with others in big band style music. after 30 years in Nursing Division of the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department.
Remember when Dale was just a baby also but then last contact.
May God grant you peace with a memory of such a great family heritage as we all know in the Town of Ruston.
