BOYD JACKSON Obituary

Boyd Reese Jackson 7-16-1931 to 3-5-2011 Boyd Jackson, 79, passed away on Mar. 5, 2011 with his family present. He was born in California, but spent his adult life in Seattle and Tacoma area. He served as a Master Sergeant in the Army. He retired as a deputy with King County Sheriff's Dept. Was active as a Mason and as a Washington General. He was much loved by his family and many friends. His joy was being Santa everyChristmas. He was preceded in death by his parents Bethel and Ardath, wife Betty Jo, brother Gil, and son Michael. He is survived by his wife Thea, sons Brian (Wendela) and Greg (Deanna), his stepchildren Matthew, Andrew, and Kimberly Barmore, grandchildren Julie (Keith), Sarah (Greg Miller), Brianna, Krystal and Serena, and great-grandchild Kendrick. Much thanks to the staff at Welcome Home for the wonderful care while he stayed with them the past 1-1/2 years. His ashes will be buried at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA with military honors. A memorial service will be held on March 27th, 2011 at 2:00pm at Belmor Clubhouse, 2101 S 324th St., Federal Way, WA 98003.
