Charles Booth Obituary

Charles W. Booth "Chuck" 7/25/1941 to 5/29/2011 Chuck died unexpectedly at his Lakewood home. He served his country for 26 years as a Master Sergeant in the US Army. Chuck retired from the Army and enjoyed his 17-year career with the Law Enforcement Support Agency (LESA). Preceded in death by his wife Tomi, the mother of his children, Wes Booth (Pam), and Bettie Juhl (Charley). Chuck is survived by his loving wife and best friend Karen Turner-Booth. The family requests donations to his favorite non-profit, Lakewood Playhouse, 253-588-0042. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011, 11am - 9pm, Services will be held Monday, June 6, 2pm, at the Mountain View Funeral Home Celebration of Life Center. Reception following services

I got to know Chuck almost 30 years ago and he's been a great friend since. I've thought of him for years as like an older brother. Even though he moved away years ago, we managed to stay in touch, and with the internet, keep in regular contact. We last saw he and Karen in February, and it will remain a fond memory. My heartfelt condolences go out to Karen and his son Wes and daughter Bettie.
RIP, Chuck. It was great being your friend.

Chuck and I were close friends for 50 years. I am the Godfather of his children (Wes and Bette) and his sudden death has hit hard. Nine years ago he lost Tomi and fortunately a few years ago he found Karen and once again enjoyed being a married man. All his friends, old and new, mourn his loss and my family (Toki, George and me) send our condolences to all of you.

CHUCKIE!!! I don't want to say goodbye to such a dear friend. You have been there for me as my second Dad and my friend for many years. You supported me like no other thru thick and thin. You never judged, but gave a gentle nudge like "What the hell do you think you are doing? do what you want you will anyway!" I will miss your advise and wisdom even tho I did it my way. You always told me I was your second daughter and you always made me feel that way. You were there for me when family was lost and hugged me and told me it would be alright.
I will miss you much but will always remember how much fun we had. Partners in crime. You on county and me on city. Causing problems whenever we could. We laughed so hard! I'm smiling just thinking about it. I'm remembering the football game at your house too!!! I know you will keep an eye out for us. Say hello to Tomi Jonathon and Dad. I LOVE YOU CHUCKIE!!! JUGGS
