Cleo Freyberg Obituary

Cleo Maxine Freyberg Age 79, passed away May 29, 2011 at home peacefully with her family by her side in Federal Way, Washington. A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way on June 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Cleo was born September 14, 1931 in Elk River, Minnesota to Leonard and Lillian Carlstrom. She worked for Puget Sound Hospital as a dietary aide for 43 years. When she retired, the hospital honored Cleo by naming a courtyard after her. Her interests included family, friends, anything fancy, and everything about Christmas. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her husband James A. Freyberg, who passed away in 1988. She also cared for her mother until she passed away at the age of 92. Cleo is survived by her sister Jean Stever, brother Tom Carlstrom and spouse Sharon Carlstrom, sister Bonnie Davey and spouse Pete Davey, sister Sonja Carlstrom, son James Freyberg, son Gerald Freyberg and spouse Kathy Freyberg, grandson James Freyberg and spouse Kimberly Freyberg, granddaughter Charlotte Myxter and spouse Jamie Myxter, grandson Matthew Freyberg, great-granddaughter Taylor Freyberg, and niece Christina Conley and spouse Antonio Conley. Cleo is also survived by many nieces and nephews who love her and will miss her greatly.
